Maria supports individuals navigating trauma, life transitions, and the emotional impact of migration and displacement. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in creating a sense of safety—moving at your pace, without pressure to share more than you’re ready for.
With a background as a settlement language instructor and lived experience as an immigrant, Maria brings a deep understanding of cultural identity and the unique challenges faced by newcomers and refugees.
She uses a trauma-informed approach, integrating EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal-informed work, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients feel more grounded, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with a sense of clarity and balance.
Maria offers care in English, Russian, and Spanish.
